I’ve been studying and working with leather for over 6 years now. As a carpenter, I relate well to stiff or thick leather which is why I mostly work with Veg Tan types. I’ve found that a lot of my previous skills were easily transferred to this medium. I enjoy the creative process that accompanies most of my pieces and would much rather be doing the multi-items piece work than much of anything else.
